What do I need to hydraulic valves that happen?
I have a HYD. To pump 2 gpm @ 650psi., A double acting cylinder is extended @ 600psi, and a hyd. engine pressure @ 625psi operation @ 1 / 2 speed. I will change the direction of the motor and run @ full speed with a pressure 500psi protection. Then the cylinder @ full speed, no more than 600psi. What valves do I need to make this happen? (eg, flow control, check valves, safety valves, etc.)
I would like to use a PLC and a motor drive efficiently and do it automatically, but that's not what you ask. First, you need 2 three-position four-way spool valves (directional control valves) to operate the cylinder and the motor independently in both directions. Now, a PRV set at 600psi limit the pressure in the double acting cylinder extending side) also need to dispense checkvalve it in another direction.
