I do not know why the Chev. dealer can not fix my 98 Geo Metro?
I have sunk about 2 thousand dollars in my PPL Metro now and continuously maintain on ripping me. First, the pulley bolt broke on the bottom and have had problems since. Every time I put a / c in the car loses power and walks very slow just to get back up to 45 mph and the service engine light was on. He led several repair shops and still say is code computer 400 and not the EGR. They (Chev. Dealer) that my crankshaft seals needed to be replaced, and that the timing belt that sits on corroded therefore replaced the gaskets and clean up this part and charged me 600.00 I'm very up-set. No need for a O2 sensor or fuel pump, so do not know what else to do. Everywhere I'm taking has cost me $ 600 and the time they leave the car feels good 30 minutes later the service engine light comes again. I do not know what to do.
First …. The engine code # P0400 exhaust gas recirculation flow anomaly …… I would scan the computer again and again to check the codes. This is either the EGR valve or PCV valve ….. I changed the PCV valve and EGR change ….. EGR is brand new? If it isn't to change.
