Why do we have to pull the light switch 3 times with our low voltage halogen lights?

In our bathroom we have the strength switch standard operating fixed halogen downlights. Lately, for some strange reason, we now have to press the light switch 3 times to light is, on, off then on and it works! Why is this?? Is it a problem with a switch unit or something to do with the processors halogen lights? Thanks, but not that the transformers need to warm up as we tried to leave for a while. Moreover, there is a 3-way switch is a simple one quarter bathing in and out of pulling the switch! Thanks anyway

The switch is probably held in one hand. Some switches have traction two sets of contacts (which there are two "on" position and two "on" positions). If one side takes the other will be out soon so you should replace the switch. Bert
