How can I get a service department to pay for the damaged parts after they made faulty repairs?
Two months ago I had the board replaced valve covers on my Nissan Max, the new ones have been broken and oil have leaked into the battery and alternator. The place of service refuses to pay for anything, but a new valve covers. Do I have anyway to get to pay for the damage that has caused?
You are really in a difficult position. I'm not sure in what state, but shifted the responsibility of the repair service from state to state. If you live in California, the repair order of the signs customer is always a warning that the children in their warranties on their work covers only parts replaced and does not include incidental. Unfortunately, this is usually in the back of the repair order. Most people do not read the back of a time to sign the front. Do not know what year of your vehicle. But assuming it's a couple of years and the battery is at least 3 years of age, who may offer to pay half the cost. That's something right. So with the alternator. Unless the car is new and the alternator is new, the offer of compromise. Pick up half the cost of the alternator. Do not be confrontational about it or to agree to go to court and fight. At this point, are at a disadvantage.
