Planting equipment types?
I have to be taken to speed. When I was a kid (many years) we planted all vegetables in farm hand. After a career in the classroom back to the fields. When planting, alfalfa and wheat, where different rows the farmer uses a separator issue to seed their fields. If seeds are spread by a diffusion separator, how the seeds are covered by a drag chain? For crops in rows, like corn, tomatoes and beans, not the seed plate in a planter / pot has a "calendar" disk or plate to provide adequate spacing between plants or seeds? If my view of the planters and plants are outside, please do correct me? I'm looking to put between 20 and 40 hectares of seed and my physical condition would not allow me to plant many acres by hand the way I learned as a child. Thank you.
