How much and care so that the fuel injection engine 400?

I have a 1978 Trans am 6.6L engine rebuilt 400 and wanted injected fuel quantity to be cost? the drive as a daily driver and the thought of fuel injection may be better for the winter and I will not sell or trade it would consider a new engine if the fuel injection would not work.

I will be in a throttle of the market style accessory body kits EFI as the easy and cheaper, I know Summit Racing used to carry several. This way you can use Current consumption intake manifold, gas tank, fuel lines, electrical etc.. If you have a suitable donor car with the engine, computer games complete cables and all other parts and soon after a conversion is possible, but this is a significant amount of work and head scratching that takes more problem solving to work all the bugs. There are wiring harnesses and conversion kits available, which makes this easier but add more to the cost. I made a similar conversion to talk about a 1981 Chevy 350 truck engine with Holley projection kit and it was a relaxing weekend that was fairly easy project with good results. I also helped a friend convert a 1979 Chevy truck factory EFI 1988 with a donor truck and weeks of work, testing and more with costs the same results at the end.
