How do I connect the hydraulic circuit.?
I'm doing a logsplitter and want work this way. I use a tractor driven pump for making workforce RAM via a hand control valve. This is a ram heafty (7.5 liter capacity with extended bar). I wondered could configure it so that records are divided we can work easily in a resonably fast speed and maybe then, when records are divided more difficult it could turn the knob somewhere along the line and slow extension and increace the power to split the toughest of knots. I hope that this can be done. I also wondered could it be created so just push the lever once and the piston is extended to split the log and then a touch of the lever, and would return to a preset position (which would be adjustable if the records were some 150mm and some 250mm wouldnt have to wait for the contract journey that could 360mm). This is only an afterthought, but I would be very happy with just the information from the first circuit. Thanks for the help.
Peter is right about the speed / power problem, it is likely that the use of two rams, with a shutoff valve to disable one of the sheep when you want higher speeds and lower power. As for the idea of varying length, this is something that is used in drilling jumbos in mining. They need their power rails variable length, so you can drill down into shorter tunnels adjusted using drill steel, but also drilling more holes in the face when needed. The power rails using a variable-length 3-port cylinder, which has a variable time depending on how much oil is pumped into the middle chamber. He still has two cameras that standard is a hydraulic cylinder (head end and rod end), but has a third house on the average, made by a second piston that can "float" up and down the bar. The operator sets the maximum size you want that the railway to be, and then blocks facing the camera half with a hand operated high pressure ball valve. Then they can drill tunnels more small, and every time it returns the Tramp (percussion drill) to the back of the rail, the railway will not open beyond the duration to set it up because of the race to reduce the RAM. weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
